Stephen Müller's 1976 Rally Beetle

Stephen Müller, from Australia, is currently running the 1976 Beetle pictured below in Australian rallies.  It's running an 82mm crankshaft with VW con-rods, Gene Berg cylinder heads, and a Hollinger 4-speed gearbox with a factory swing-axle LSD (this has been specially converted to CV joints).

Stephen Müller's car, rallying in Australia in 2001.  In this event he came second to a Mitsubishi Lancer Evo 3 - by one second!

In his last rally (13/14 July 2002) he DNF'd with a broken ball joint - the first time this has happened to him!
