The Greek CS Beetle Historic Rally Team was co-founded by Andrea Andrikopoulos and Ioannides Tassos.

The Greek CS Beetle Historic Rally Team run a 1303S Beetle (owned by Andrea Andrikopoulos and co-driven by Spyros Zoumas) completed to FIA Appendix J specification, as per the original Porsche Salzburg cars, and a 1965 1300 (owned by Ioannides Tassos and co-driven by Tsafogiannis Dimitrios).

The 1303S engine is 1600cc, and produces 116bhp at 5600rpm. The power is put through a close-ratio transmission with straight-cut gears and a 75% locking ZF limited-slip differential.

The suspension has been custom-made by the team, using Bilstein components, and the car weighs in at 810kg.

In the 2004 Greek National Historic Rally Championship Andrea and Ioannides came 4th overall (against Porsches, Escorts, Datsuns, etc) and came home first in the 1600cc category 3 times.

The 1965 1300 runs with Kadron carburettors and, once again, a close-ratio straight-cut transmission with a limited-slip differential.

The exhaust has been custom-made, and the car runs Bilstein shock absorbers at each corner.

In the last last 3 seasons, the 1300 has achieved the following results:

2001 Greek National Historic Championship - 4th Overall

2002 Greek National Historic Championship - 5th Overall

2003 Greek National Historic Championship - 5th Overall

In 2003 they also achieved a 3rd place in the 1300cc category of the Historic Rallye Acropolis
