2003 Tranbell Safari Rally

Uch Perazza and Greg Clemson in Uch's 1916cc semi-automatic Beetle, on the Tranbell Safari rally, a part of the Australian Capital Territory Rally Series.

Uch says "This was our best result to date. 180 kilometers of competitive stages, where we finished 14th outright from 38 starters & 5th in class .
The sideways photo was typical of our approach to the event and once again the Beetle was the crowd favourite."

This photo was taken on the last daylight stage and the damage to the front of the car was as a result of hitting a Kangaroo, a common hazard in this part of the country. Uch has hit two Roos in the last 2 events.
